if a small group of people was able to take out the Nazi leaders, would we from our now vantage point in history applaud their courage?

that is exactly what is going on with trying to halt the atrocities of Hamas.
any voice which supports, justifies, defends, makes excuses for, rationalizes, intellectualizes, downplays the atrocities of Hamas, is a voice which supports death to all Jews.

yes it is that simple.
The Nazi regime was halted. What is deeply disturbing is there are now voices in support of Hamas which has the identical ideology of the Nazi regime.

The Hamas regime is funded by the Iran regime. Iran's government leader calls for the annihilation of Israel and uses the term “final solution,” calling forth the identical ideology used by Nazi leadership of genocide against Jews during the Holocaust. Iran funds terrorist groups sworn to slaughter of Jews, including the Lebanon-based Hezbollah and Gaza-based Hamas.

Except that's not what those protests are like. Those protests were like this:

‘Reprehensible’ anti-Israel protesters chant ‘Gas the Jews’ outside Sydney Opera House

BLM Chicago under fire for pro-Palestinian post featuring paragliding terrorist: ‘Disgusting and disgraceful’

Star of David painted on Jewish homes in Berlin

Many Jewish schools also had to close last Friday all across Europe. Does that NOT sound like 1933?

And let's not kid ourselves. What Palestinians (and other Arabs in the area) really want is to dump every single Jew into the Mediterranean. They deny the very existence of Israel. Why should Israel entertain them?

"Relations between Berlin and Tehran were strong from the moment Hitler came to power in 1933, when Reza Shah's nation was still known as Persia. The shah became a stalwart admirer of Hitler, Nazism and the concept of the Aryan master race. So intense was the shah’s identification with the Third Reich that in 1935 he renamed his ancient country “Iran,” which in Farsi means Aryan and refers to the lineage that Nazi racial theorists and Persian ethnologists cherished. The idea for the name change was suggested by the Iranian ambassador to Germany. From that point, all Iranians were constantly reminded that their country shared a bond with the Nazi regime.

"Shortly after World War II began in 1939, the mufti of Jerusalem crafted a strategic alliance with Hitler to exchange oil for active Arab participation in the murder of Jews in the Mideast and Eastern Europe, predicated on support for Arab rule over Palestine. During the war years, Iran became a haven and headquarters for Gestapo agents and German operatives. The mufti of Jerusalem continued to call for the destruction of the Jews and the defeat of the British. His venomous rhetoric was a vocal and vigilant opponent of allowing Jewish refugees to be transported, he wanted them shipped to the gas chambers of Poland. In Tehran’s marketplace, it was common to see placards that declared, “In heaven, Allah is your master. On Earth, it is Adolf Hitler.” "

No. SHAME ON YOU. You are bringing into the discussion the same ridiculous talking points that Hamas, Iran, and it's sympathizers are bringing into the discussion while claiming "lies and propaganda".
"Israeli's attempt to annihilate the people..."
"Condemned for total devastation..."
"Acts of Oppression..."
That is hyperbole beyond belief.
Israel needs to live in peace with Palestinians (after Hamas is removed), but when you accuse them of "Israeli attempt to annihilate the people..." and "total devastation" after last Saturdays act of terrorism of all things, you just seems like one of those crazy pro-Hamas college students or some Iranian mullah.

Why are you bringing that up now if not to justify the existence of Hamas, defend the actions of Hamas, or at least condemn Israelis right to defend itself?

identical.
His one statement "(Israel) intention to annihilate the people of Palestine"....some actually believe this, it is chilling to read that. It justifies everything...murder, terrorism. You have an organization, Hamas, that actually put those words into it's constitution, yet Israel gets accused of trying to annihilate the people.

This is the key to anti-Semitism that has occurred since the middle ages, the belief that Jews were going to annihilate the world. They were blamed for The Black Death. History repeats itself.

To condemn the war Israel is waging on the people of Palatine with US support. The UN has condemned Israel for its illegal settlements and for its merciless killings. Nobody is supporting Hamas, but anyone with a heart will condemn All killings, be it done by the State of Israel or by Hamas. Hamas is condemned as terrorists, so is Israel except that it is State sanctioned terrorism. Every child is precious, every mother is precious, all lives are precious.

the rhetoric in your posts is in support of Hamas.
that's why it is so chilling and disturbing.

The UN is overwhelmingly controlled by states that support terror. They defend nations that give sanctuary to terrorists. That is the voice and view you echo and espouse and defend and put forth and yes outright align with and support in your posts. You have indicated where your allegiance is. The historic view looking back will see view expressed in post above as proclaiming those attempting to take out Nazi leadership, are to be condemned as no better than Nazi leadership. That is your legacy.

Note: that is a generic "you" for anyone holding that view. Not directed at any individual person posting.

"The U.N.'s response to Israel's early warning to the residents of Gaza is shameful," states Erdan. "For many years, the U.N. has turned a blind eye to the arming of Hamas and its use of the civilian population and civilian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip as a hiding place for its weapons and murder."

The UN does not recognize or sanction Hamas as a terror group.

"The United Nations Security Council still does not recognize or sanction Hamas as a terror group — despite multiple other nations declaring it to be so. The U.N. Security Council votes to impose sanctions and designations on groups like al Qaeda, the Taliban or ISIS. But no such sanctions or designations exist for Iran’s axis of terror groups, including Hamas and Hezbollah. "

this is what you align yourself with and support.
frankly, i am appalled.

from article
When Iran says Death to Israel it means it
Iran funds supports and trains Hamas

Iranian leaders’ quest to destroy Israel

"Despite the sheer volume of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic statements emanating from the country’s two supreme leaders in the 43 years since the Islamic revolution in Iran, the notion that Tehran’s rulers seek the destruction of Israel has often been caveated, belittled, or politically recast.

"The Islamic Republic emblazons death to Israel on banners in official processions, fires ballistic missiles against targets shaped like the Star of David, displays and flight-tests ballistic missiles with genocidal slogans against Israel in Hebrew, struck a mock-up of Israel’s nuclear reactor with drones and ballistic missiles in a military drill, and denigrates Israeli and American icons in military parades. Iranian media outlets have taken to calling the country’s medium-range ballistic missiles—all of which surpass known weight/range thresholds to be classified as strategic or nuclear-capable platforms—“Israel-hitting missiles” referring to the upper range of these projectiles, which is about the distance between Iran and Israel."
