HAMAS is 100% responsible for every single death on both sides. Fully responsible.

question for the OP.
your posting history shows that you post a lot on the topic of religion and spirituality.

the stated goal of Hamas is to kill Jews. Both Hamas and the PLO have a pay for slay program where citizens are bribed and given financial rewards for killing Jews. The more Jews a person kills, the more money the government pays them.

What are your views on that?

For instance the Palestinian Authority expects to pay nearly $3 million a month to the families of the Hamas terrorists who carried out the deadly massacre on October 7th.

The Palestinian Authority spends nearly $350 million per year on "pay for slay".
But it spends just $220 million for its other welfare programs for the rest of its citizens. These pay for slay cash stipends and financial incentives including monthly allowance are cash incentives to spur Arabs to undertake car ramming and stabbing as a terrorist tactic. "The perverse incentive used by the PA is that the more gruesome and worse the attack, the more money the imprisoned terrorist and their family receives." Also marrying into a family of terrorists who already receive these financial rewards, also results in additional cash payout.

The more Jews a person kills, the more the government pays them. What are the OP's thoughts on spending more on pay for slay than on welfare programs for the citizens?

Hamas clearly is a problem and must be routed out and defeated. On the other hand, it is hard to see the blunt force actions of the IDF as being on any sort of moral high ground or even if it is the best course of action. I'm reading more on the topic but a more targeted counterterrorism campaign is suggested as a better alternative, to what is being carried out now which entails the slaughter of over 10K Palestinians, many who are children and the death count is growing fast.

More on this here for those interested.

Here is the report

Be sure to check out the photo showing the family of Mohammed Tarayreh, who stabbed to death a 13-year-old Jewish girl in her bed, now eligible for a monthly stipend from the Palestinian pay for slay Fund. Mohammed had boasted on Facebook his wishes to die to avenge his cousin, Yousef Walid Tra'ayra, who also committed a terrorist attack. Regarding the man who murdered the 13-year-old Jewish girl in her bed, his mother "praised her son and hoped others would follow in his path."

OP, what are your thoughts on providing financial rewards for murdering children asleep in their beds? The 13-year-old girl attacked in her bed suffered multiple stab wounds all across her upper body. What are your thoughts on raising a family to murder children, and praising them when they do?

I can agree this is horrible. I can agree Hamas, its leadership and it's ability to finance things like this needs to be eliminated. I think one can agree with all these things and also be open to there being a better course of action, than the one currently taken.

Default Israel is Waging an Extensive War of Starvation

Israel is Waging an Extensive War of Starvation against Gaza’s Civilian Population.

Quote:
Prior to the ongoing Israeli war, 70% of the Gaza Strip's children suffered from varying health issues including malnutrition, anemia, and weakened immunity. However, Euro-Med Monitor said, the number has increased to over 90% as a result of the unprecedented Israeli attacks.

Euro-Med Monitor made clear that women and children in Gaza are disproportionately suffering from the effects of Israel's war. Approximately 52,500 infants in Gaza are currently at risk of starvation, death, dehydration, and other health hazards due to overcrowding, in addition to 55,000 pregnant women, of whom 5,500 are expected to give birth this month.

Mothers and newborns are seriously threatened by Israel's attacks, the disruption of damaged or non-operating health facilities, the large-scale displacement, and the collapse of food, water, and electricity supplies.

It further added that the risks of malnutrition were extremely high among pregnant women, which had a significant impact on children's survival and development, and as access to food and water worsened, mothers struggled to feed and care for their families, increasing the risks of malnutrition, illness, and death.

It also stated that pregnant women are particularly vulnerable to malnutrition, which will have a substantial negative impact on the survival and development of their children, pointing out that as access to food and water is restricted, mothers found it increasingly difficult to care for and feed their families, raising the risks of malnutrition, illness, and death.

Additionally, Euro-Med emphasized that Israel has only allowed about 2% of the needed and necessary aid and food supplies to enter the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing with Egypt up until today, despite ongoing calls from human rights organizations to allow unrestricted entry of food, water, and fuel supplies.

if you are "concerned" about the health of citizens in Gaza, then surely you are concerned and even outraged that Hamas not only (a) fires rockets in close proximity to hospitals, but (b) also fires weapons from within the hospital, and (c) intentionally puts the citizens of Gaza directly in harm's way by locating weapons, munitions, and terrorists in and beneath the hospitals.

Hamas also diverts humanitarian aid intended for the citizens and hospital (for instance food and fuel) and uses it for weapons and killing instead. OP, Where are your posts condemning Hamas for harming and endangering Gaza citizens in lo these many ways?

"In a briefing to international media, IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari played video footage showing an underground entrance on the site of the Qatari-built Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani Hospital in Gaza City, which he said connects to the wide Hamas tunnel network. Another clip shows Hamas gunmen firing from inside the hospital at Israeli forces outside. Intelligence also revealed a tunnel network under the Indonesian Hospital - also in Gaza City. He added that aerial imagery showed rocket launchers a few dozen metres from the complex."

"The Indonesia Hospital - “funded by several NGOs from Indonesia” - had been equipped with tunnels for Hamas to use when its foundations were being built in 2010, Mr Hagari said. “Hamas built the hospital on top of their terror infrastructure, before they started to construct the hospital,” he said. The IDF has previously accused Hamas of locating its main base of operations under Shifa Hospital, the largest hospital in Gaza, as well as hoarding fuel for terror purposes.
