Ibiza really doesn’t belong in the list. Majorca is probably a better place for comparison purposes.

There are also numerous marinas further up the Thames, whilst the Royal Victoria Docks are home to the Sunborn London Yacht Hotel, a super yacht hotel beside the ExCel Exhibition Centre and the Royal Victoria Docks can easily house even the largest of super yachts regardless of size.

Whilst Canary Wharf (West India Dock) is also often home to superyachts and can take yachts up to 170 metres (557 feet) in length.

Chelsea Harbour is generally home to smaller vessels, as it's further down river.

However most large superyachts are based in the Mediterranean, Caribbean or other exotic locations, with their owners preferring to fly out to the yacht rather than have it based in a city.

As for outside of London, Poole in Dorset, which is home to Sunseeker Yachts is often home to numerous super yachts. Poole has the second largest natural harbour in the world and there are a number of very wealthy areas nearby. Whilst , Loch Fyne, Argyll in Scotland is home to a beautiful marina that often attracts large yachts.

Princess Yachts based in Plymouth is another major UK yacht builder.

I want to know the 'vibe' of the said areas and which area has large single home mansions.

I am not an estate agent, so suggest you do your own research.

I have written enough already.

Try Savills or one of the other upmarket estate agents or use google.

You seem interested in Yachts.

What they do with a lot of large Yachts, is spend part of the year on the Mediterranean and then ship them across the Atlantic to Florida on a super yacht transporter, where they will undergo any maintenance and repairs before heading off to the Caribbean.

Then after the Caribbean season is over they make the journey back to the Mediterranean on a specialist super yacht transporter.

There are quite a few companies to choose from and other popular yacht shipping routes include from Europe to the Middle East and Far East and from the East Coast of the US to Florida and the Caribbean.
