Been thinking about this lately. My wife and I traveled extensively. We pretty much agree on where we'd want to live. In no partucular order:

Porreta Terme, Italy - Beautiful mountain town. The locals are extremely friendly, food is great and weather is beautiful.

Perth, AUS - More laid back than the other major Australian cities. Love the climate and clean air.

Okinawa, Japan - Quite diverse for Japan. Kind people, tasty food.

Northern Ireland - The people were so down to earth and helpful. Loved the countryside.

Even if you've never visited a place, where would you want to live?

If not living in the USA, I might consider Sydney, Australia or Accra, Ghana.

I have family in Ghana and love Ghanaian food. Plus, Ghana is a safe country as far as violent crime goes and the weather is good.

As for Sydney, I lived there for several months back in 2013 and really enjoyed my time there.

If I couldn't live in the UK I wouldn't mind living in a small(ish) and warm island somewhere, Malta perhaps, or Fiji, Cyprus perhaps or somewhere in the Caribbean (somewhere like the 'fictional' San Marie perhaps! :-D), if I had to live in a larger country then perhaps Australia or New Zealand.

I wouldn’t want to move out of the UK. However, I would like to move from South Wales to South West England, as it is nicer there.
