Also many australian cities are very alike.

Why these cities in particular? None of them, really. Not even their natural environment is like LA's. I voted Jakarta but that doesn't mean much.

I do agree with marlaver that some South American cities can look similar to LA. Should have included those.

I think Tel Aviv is likely the most similar to Los Angeles among the cities listed by the OP.
