In 1973 Leonard Bernstein famously conducted the London Symphony Orchestra playing Symphony No. 2 (Mahler) known as the 'Resurrection Symphony' at Ely Cathedral in Cambridgeshire in England.

The events was filmed and was recreated in the 2003 film Maestro starring Bradley Cooper and a cast of other notable actors.
