Of the place I have seen Manilla is the worst with Bankgkok a close second. Driving around Seoul is a breeze compared to these two. Have not been any indian cities yet however!

heard from cousin who did business there that south africa is pretty bad. people don't stop for/at red lights, especially at night, for fear of being carjacked at gunpoint.
as bad as what others posted about hanoi, mumbai, nyc, manila, rome, etc...at least there's low possibility of having guns/knives pulled on you.

Manila for sure. I went there for a week for work and I know you can't judge a city by being there for a week, but holy moly I thought I'd get hit everytime I got in a car. And I wasn't even driving!

Any European city. Gasoline prices there are just too high.

Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta. BKK can be an absolute nightmare as well. Anywhere Europe is easy in comparison. I've never been worried driving in London, Paris, Rome, etc. Los Angeles doesn't even register - that's easy, unless it's a late Friday afternoon while it rains...

From the number of times I've seen Manila, and having been born and raised in Manila, I definitely would vote for Manila. And that's after living in Los Angeles for 10 years and driving through Boston while living in CT. Manila, Manila, Manila! Maybe that's why by the time I got to driving LA, it was uhh...really nothing! I swear Las Vegas cabbies are the worst...kinda like driving in Tijuana.
