I picked Dubai.

NYC comes second for the architecture and the history of NYC's skyline

I pick Vancouver. Its skyline is much shorter but is still competitive.

I dont even think Dubai should be on this list. I will give HK a slight edge over NYC.

I voted for Hong Kong because it easily has the best skyline in the world. The city has the most amazing architecture and natural setting. It has jungles, mountains, and ocean, what more could you ask for? Chicago would have been my 2nd choice. I don't know why so many people think NYC has such a great skyline. The NYC skyline is massive, but not aesthetically pleasing like Hong Kong, Chicago, or Dubai. Quantity does not equal quality, otherwise Tokyo and Shanghai would be dominating this poll.

Can you give photographic examples? I fail to see any really impressive buildings in Tokyo. Dubai would seem to have quality, because those are crazy large and modern designs.
