The Asociated Press is reporting that the last known survivor of the Titanic Disaster has passed away. Millvina Dean was 97 years old.


Millvina Dean was just two months old when the Titanic sank into the North Atlantic on the ice morning of April 15th,1912.

Millvina lead a wonderful life. She served her country in World War 2, and completed her family's ill fated voyage on the QE2 in 1997.

Had the Titanic not gone down, she would have become American. Her family was emigrating from England to Kansas. The disaster altered the course of so many lives.
