To claim that any nationality is 'smartest' is a leading question that has in inherent logical flaw. It assumes generalization and stereotyping--something that leads to the kind of venom read on this thread.

There is no 'smartest' nationality. If we wish to define 'smart' by 'highest IQ' (which in itself is debatable), you have a somewhat random sprinkling of high IQ over the entire planet. Now if you are talking about which nationalities have a better chance at being educated, that's different.

BUT,

Individuals are 'smart'; nationalities are not.
