I'm a radio broadcaster by obsession, er passion and profession. I was born and raised in the USA and have worked here professionally for 3 to 4 years.

I'm looking to get out of the States for many reasons..
..mainly because I'm just starting to dislike how things are going here. Sure, people say the USA is great, and it probably is for most people.. but I ain't most people

Secondly, I thrive on challenge.. the challenge and expierience of new people, a new culture.. new things....

I would like to look for work as a radio personality/presenter in another country. I know immigraiton laws can be a *****.... but ...

any tips/suggestions/reccomendations on places I should look?

You can PM me any time.

I'm also trying to get out of the US. My plan is to move to the UK in the next few years, as soon as I can get a visa and a job there. Immigration laws and programs are a nightmare, and because of terrorism the process has gotten exceedingly harsh. You just have to find the place that you think you'd be happy in, Britain is a good fit for me, however a lot of people hate it. I know a guy who went to Australia on vacation and loved it so much he never came back to the states, he somehow got residency there and his funds transfered. I know a lot of Americans have moved to Canada, slightly less to the UK and Ireland, and a small minority to Australia and New Zealand. Read a lot about these places, and travel around, look to see what stations in what cities have radio broadcasting positions to fill, secure a job, and then start the immigration process. I know how you feel, a lot of people have fallen out of love with this country in recent years, myself included.
Good Luck!
