I went there just to get out of the maze of the central HK, but I don't know the exact name of that spot. I took a bus that wandered around the island for awhile to the end of the line. Got out and there was this nice shoreline area, an open marketplace of sorts, and some places along the street to get something to eat and relax near the shore.

I can't remember either, it was part of a weekend getaway from Shanghai that culminated in Macau. I explored Hong Kong Island by myself by bus because my friends wouldn't leave the hostel because they were too hungover. But it struck me how most of the world doesn't think of beaches when they think of Hong Kong.

That looks like a town in Italy. Maybe some tiny street in Venice?

#5 Porto, Portugal or a town on the Azores?

The sign appears to be in Portuguese.
