Older photo of Brisbane?

Drives on the left, decidious trees, no palms, clean infrastructure... circular 500ft skyscraper.

Im starting to think Central Europe or even East Asia?
It's not Brisbane.. my first thought was Adelaide but they're driving on the right, so it's not Australia. Other than that, I have no idea.

I would say the green highway sign looks American style, but it's hard to tell, given the glare from the sun. The infrastructure also appears quite American. Probably some mid-sized American city like Louisville or Oklahoma City

Not Brisbane, Central Europe and East Asia. And the photo is RECENT.

Clue: There are no natural deciduous trees there (what made you see deciduous trees? They all look evergreen in the pic). Subtropical and naturally evergreen species grow here anyway (palms easily grow there too).
