This is really just for fun. I forgot how I got to thinking about this, but it occurred to me that Israel and Switzerland are somewhat similar in terms of their military. Both are relatively small but influential nations with mandatory military service for their males of a certain age. Israel is pretty much known the world over as being a disproportionately bad ass nation capable of fighting off and even conquering portions of several attacking countries. Switzerland, while completely neutral, packs a phantom punch I think; they can reportedly hide their entire army in the Alps and their civilian armed forces are required to possess an assault rifle in their homes. Israel is known for their intelligence and military prowess. Switzerland is also known for being practical and tech savvy, and I'd say they also have an advantage in terms of defense (well, except the fact that they're completely landlocked...yeah, about that...).
So just for the hell of it, who do y'all think would win if Israel and Switzerland for some weird-ass reason decided to throw down?

In Israel also women have mandatory military service for women. Israel has actually been using their training techniques in real situations. Switzerland has not really fought in a defensive war in many years.
It's not supposed to be serious, and both countries would probably never ever get into a war in real life anyway, I was just curious.
And that's true, nukes are kind of a big deal. Say they were to exclude nukes and have a conventional war with no allies, no foreign support. Would it still be Israel?

Israel is a very violent Asian country, and Switzerland is a very peaceful European country.
If Israel attacks Switzerland, the European Union military force would protect Switzerland and help the Swiss army. The U.S. would probably take Europe´s side too.

Israel is not very violent Asian country. It is a country that has been attacked by its neighbors in the past and by terrorists since it became an independent country. Therefore, its Government was forced to develop a good defensive army. Its people are peaceful and never would attack a country that isn't try to erase its existence.
The Swiss army is geared towards defensive warfare. They do not have an offensive capability.
