Thanks to illitracy, corruption and narrow mindset of some Indians (For whatever reasons) our country is moving at a snails pace.Thats really unfortunate and very disappointing.
Good analysis.
And China has also a demographic asset : because of the one-child policy, its huge population will stop growing, whereas India is going to drown under the (unwanted) numbers and become the nO1 country in terms of population as soon as 2020.
Nevertheless, India is the darling of the French nowadays, whereas they loathe China.
Talk of absurdity!
Romania. Romance-language speaking country which includes a large number of Hungarians and a large part of it should be part of Hungary.
It would actually make more sense if Romania was where the former Yugoslavia was, because then they'd be right next door to another country whose language is based on Latin (Italy).
Based on your logic Hungary is out of place in Europe. Actually the hungarians shouldn't be in Europe but that's another discussion.
The Greater Romania had territories of former Yugoslavia too. It also had territories from southern Ukraine, Moldova(all of it), Bulgaria and so on.
They speak a romance language because they were part of the Roman Empire before hungarians, and other migratory populations came in Europe!

I don't think there's anything absurd in preferring a flawed democracy to an authoritarian regime that supports some of the world's worst dictatorships. (They have improved from being a totalitarian Maoist state, but Chinese regime is still repressive or unethical in some respects.) Although maybe there's a bit of hypocrisy in it in that France itself is one of the leading arms dealers to Third World dictatorships and had some questionable imperialistic policies up to the 1950s.
Not to overly praise India as in some respects they might be less well-managed than China and have greater ethnic or religious tensions.

Do you think Finland shouldn't be in Europe either?

That actually makes more sense than Transylvania being part of Romania.

I'm very well aware of how the Russians grabbed Moldova from Romania, and that was very screwed up.

I don't have anything against Romanians as a whole (I do not blame living people for what their ancestors did or what their leaders did) but I am bothered about how they try to claim to be "Western Europeans" due to speaking a Romance language, when they're obviously Eastern European.
North Korea - the totalitarian family dictatorship and it's political isolation makes it very different from its neighbours.
Singapore - A highly developed city-state, with a population which is 75% of Chinese ancestry in the middle of a largely Malay/Indonesian speaking region.
Australia and New Zealand - Adolescent countries that are neither fully connected to their British roots or its Asian neighbours.

Israel which is surrounding by Arab speaking countries on all sides (except the sea on its Western side).
Blame the Brits
