"Don't let your meatloaf."
Whoever thought up this one is a clod and needs a smack in the chops, that would loin him. Frankly, it's a prime example of poor taste and well overdone, that's my beef. Using this expression is a big mis-steak and it should be chucked, but I guess it's your choice. Does anybody veal my pain?
I'd love to meat you so we could discuss some of these prime mis-steaks. It isn't too hard to chop at those who want to abuse our native tongue! I think you're pretty cleaver!
Oh my goodness...I forgot ALL about this one, probably because I have been trying to not think about it. I absolutely DESPISE it when you are listening to someone talking and every sentence they speak they end it with "know what I'm sayin' ". It makes me want to just reach out or through the TV screen and slap them.
my bad and waaazzzzuuuup!
Some people love them, but they always drive me nuts. I don't know if it has more to do with the drawn out delivery or the fact they just sound stupid to me.
Hi, my name is tlb, and I use DH sometimes instead of husband or hubby. I do so for two reasons...
1. fear of being singled out in a thread entitled "those who waste the time of posters online 24/7 who like to read every thread."
2. just in case my DH, I mean hubby gets so lonely because of my CD addiction, I can point out that I refer to him as "dear husband" in an effort to sooth his ego.

I'll go out on a lamb and say that those are tender comments, the cleaver one was notably sharp, that takes skillet. You really know how to sell the sizzle and you don't skirt the issue. Some folks butcher our native tongue and give us the cold shoulder but I say that those greasy turkeys need a kick in the rump, no mesquite about it, let them stew in their own juices.
ps: it was nice chewing the fat with you, I make no bones about it, even though it was tough at first getting embroiled in this.
