Does it mean "In my humble opinion"?--or does it mean "In my honest opinion"?

I've always known it as "humble." There is also IMNSHO, "in my not so humble opinion," which doesn't work nearly so well with "honest."

I use IMO. My opinion is as good as yours, why should I pretend to be humble? And anytime you hear the word "honest," expect lies.

Don't, unless you are trying to annoy people. You might as well use XFKQ because people are going to have to ask what it means...

I have always known it as In My Honest Opinion., But I am pretty sure it was originally In My Humble Opinion.

I've sometimes used IMHCO - In My Humble and Correct Opinion. That's always a head-scratcher for readers, because you can't highlight it and get Google to tell you its meaning.
