She sees him there laying on their bed asleep. He looks so peaceful and happy, like maybe he is dreaming. She wonders how much longer she can go on. Sitting here at her desk, typing a story, thinking about the good times and the bad. Are the good times worth staying for? Will the bad times go away? Should she wait and see? Life passes by each and every day and she wonders, will tomorrow be better? This woman we speak of watches the man in question sleeping and wonders what life will be bringing their way in the upcoming days, and if it is something she wants...
He was watching tv. When he reached for his coca-cola, he exploded. He hypothesised that the temperature difference between the glass and his hand had caused some sort of pressure change. He was just surfing channels anyways, though he remained dry until recently. Shame, too, the channel was stuck on Oprah, and his hand was flung at least 25 feet from the remote, now resting in the windowsill across the room.
