Is there a way to get from Riverton to Lander via some sort of public transportation?

Yup, there's public transportation between the 2 towns... gah, I'm failing to remember the name though. But it does exist. You could try calling the Lander or Riverton Chamber of Commerce to ask if someone else on here doesn't post up the name. I know they pick-up at the corner of 3rd and Main in Lander, not sure if there are other places in Lander or where they stop in Riverton.

I always had pretty good luck hitch hiking, if I didn't already have a ride, or my own transportation wasn't working. But that was in my youth, I have not tried it lately.

Wyoming attorney, Gerry Spence and his wife picked me up once Gerry Spence : An attorney for justice and freedom . They were very congenial, even offered me some free advice regarding the mining accident I had suffered in the Jeffery City uranium mines the year before, I was still recovering and walking with a cane.

You can meet the nicest people on Wyoming highways.

I put in one of the post here a link to the bus-trasportation outfit in Fremont Co... Get time I try and find it.
