Every year I travel to Wyoming to hunt. The people are open and friendly and have gone out of their way to welcome a stranger. Now truth be known my family hails from Dubois and I have a relations that still live in Wyoming.
Afton.
I pulled in late on the 3rd of October saw 1 resturant still open. Savannah's.
The staff was friendly and the owner made it a point to come out to say hello.
The food was reasonably priced. On par with what I might expect in my own home town here in Pa. The portions were huge. No way I could eat everything on my plate.
I made it a point to stop in a few more times before I returned to Pa. The meals, the service and the atmosphere were the same.
Home made dinners, a salad bar and some of the best home made soup that I have ever eaten.
I sure wish there was a Savanah's II where I live.
The hunt ended with a nice Mule deer buck and a ton of found memories.

Was down to the grocery store in Thayne last spring, Richard Petty pulls into the parking lot gets out of his car and puts his sun glasses on. Well I get out of the store before him he takes his sun glasses off before getting into his car to drive away. He did wear them the whole time inside the store.
