I'm another one who believes he saw something. I have seen many strange things in my life including some figures in the river bottoms of the San Jauquin Valley that were 8+ feet tall and not at all friendly. Both encounters occurred when I was with others; the hair on my body stood up and the other three people I was with stopped in their tracks and gasped at the same time I did. There are some things out there that don't have explanations, and there are some things I think humans weren't meant to see but sometimes do anyway.

There are also other things that are a hoax. I've spent plenty of time in the Sierra Nevada, Bighorn and Beartooth mountains and have never seen anything peculiar. The experiences I had were in rural areas of heavily populated regions... as far as I can tell they weren't physical beings and didn't belong where we are. As far as Bigfoot... never seen one but they may be out there; I have a friend that I trust who says he saw one in N California. It's kind of like a buddy of mine who is a BIG conspiracy theorist... he tells me "what's going on" and I tell him that I don't believe it.... but I wouldn't put much of anything past the fed gov.

though it pains me to say it...for the first time, I truly gotta side with Jody-Wy on something here...must've been something in the water you drank...

...unless of course Big-foot was somewhere up-stream a few moments before...THAT might explain things.

Things don't necessarily have to be a Bigfoot to be unexplained. I've seen some really strange things and I don't think they had anything to do with BF's. I'm open-minded enough to know that I haven't seen everything there is to see and don't know everything there is to know. I don't believe things without some sort of personal experience or evidence, but I don't blow them off either because there are just some things that are beyond explanation.
