Thought you all might be interested. Outdoor Life Magazine has a list of the 15 towns that are the best for hunting and fishing. WY tops the list with 6. Congrat's!!

As far as I'm concerned, they must have been biased. We should have had all of them.

Jobs was part of the criteria, not just hunting and fishing.

I get a little chuckle from that list. In Wyoming, I think it's odd that Rawlins tops both Lander and Cody.

And I've been to Cooper Landing, AK many times over the past 45 years -- don't remember it being a town! As far as good hunting and fishing, sure, but it's a wide spot in the road -- gas, food, booze -- hardly a town to be compared with most of the others on that list. If jobs are part of the criteria, I don't understand how it could be listed.

Not really, once you compare their data. A house in Rawlins in only 2/3rds the price of Cody or Lander, but the pay is more.

Although, I have no idea why anybody would want to live down in that area. I used to live in Hanna and have no desire to live there again.
