Hello!
My boyfriend and I will be moving to Casper from Florida. He's getting a job working as a diesel mechanic and I will just be picking up something once I get out there. We're looking for a one bedroom preferrably under $650/month. Can anyone recommend an apartment complex or what is a good source to find an apt? I've tried Forrent.com and there are 0 pictures :/ Also, I'd like to feel relatively safe, since he'll be gone often and I'll likely be working from home in the beginning.. What areas should we avoid?
Appreciate any tips!

I've had less than pleasant experiences on the North side of Casper ... one of which I wrote up in this forum, an evening encounter with some gansta' wanna be youngsters messing around in a city park there. If that's a culture that you'd rather not deal with, then I'd be looking in neighborhoods elsewhere.

As SS said avoid north Casper addresses if you want to feel safe at night. Check the classifieds on trib.com.
