Rental property/home/apt near Greybull?

the Hubz is renting one of the cottages at the Greybull Motel until the season starts. all bills paid and furnished and lovely people, can't beat that
i'm encouraged by the fact that there are rental listings in the paper about every other week or so, so when i come up with our household goods to put in storage memorial weekend we should be able to find something.

so my best suggestion for future residents of Big Horn County? get an e-subscription to the greybull standard and the lovell chronicle and keep up with those classifieds!

also found a great group on Facebook called Greybull Swap-n-Sell. good resource since Craigslist is more a cody/powell/cheyenne/larime thing from what i've observed.

Is there ANY availability of rental w/in 45 min of greybull? we'll eventually buy, but have to be employed for 6 months to qualify for a VA loan and another ~3mo to close, so we'd need something for 6 months at least starting in june 2013. looking online it seems like there are a few apartment complexes, but not much info available on them and mostly in Lovell. we don't have an RV so if we're going to have to buy one we wouldn't be able to buy a house for quite a few years since the loan situation is different for an RV and a mortgage obviously.
He's BNSF, I'm a homemaker hoping to eventually be able to have some goats and get back to fiber arts and cheese making once we can get into a house.
We'll be coming from Texas.
I figure that BNSF doesn't have any rail housing up that way due to lack of population density.

I'm looking more toward Idaho right now Lysariala, (15 more months till the wife retires) but would be very interested in Sheridan/Buffalo/Greybull triangle area if we could find a small place to rent. And I've not been too encouraged with craigslist for anywhere in Wyoming.

Please keep us "Texans looking to get out of the heat" informed about the area.
