Jody, Saw the star valley weather report for the weekend. Looks like a lot more snow over the weekend.
More storms coming in through Washington to California today headed your way next, according to the weather radar today.
Is this Considered a normal winter or still behind after all the drought years?
Nice pics as usual.
Scott

Good information. Hope all the snow helps out all the farms this year, for hay growing season in the Star Valley area, and of coarse all the other farms state wide.

That figures. Store it in tanks during the spring snow melt off and use in the summer. I guess it would cost too much money to invested in that kind of a project.
Here in Hawaii. We have what is called the red hill fuel storage tanks 20 started constructed in 1940 for the navy.
They were top secret for a long time but now declassified. I've been inside of the shaft area and it is massive looking at the depth of those tanks. I did not know about the tanks until one of my Chiefs told me about them back in 1994. He re-enlisted inside the Entrance tunnel and i was invited to attend, we had to get special permission to hold the Ceremony, inside the tunnel area. Here is a 2007 story about the red hill fuel tanks.
