Realizing that Wyoming has such harsh winters, and as some people seem to believe, 9 months of winter, it was fun to see that Wyoming made the top 5 in the nation, for Motorcycle ownership.

Between the open roads, low population crowding those roads and the awesome scenery I would think that Wyoming is a motorcyclists paradise when the weather is good.

Very true. It's not a motorcycle, but my primary transportation is a 4 wheeler. I put 3 or 4 times the number of miles on it, per year, than I do my truck. The 4 wheeler gets about 36 miles to the gallon when I have my summer tires on it. Just last week I drove it into Sheridan, 21 miles. It was in the 20's out. So weather doesn't bother me.

My son, a Harley rider, puts his Harley in storage during the winter so that he's not temped to get it out and get caught in a sudden weather change. It's easier, and safer to store it properly and just let it sit all winter.
