Or a valid US Passport if your son has one, will be another way also to get his Wyoming license . I used mine the last time i renewed my driver Licence here in Hawaii where i live now. I read on the Wyoming DMV they allow it also as another form of ID.

Good, he has a passport...
Appreciate all the good wishes and ideas..Honestly I think I am pretending that he isn't about to move that far away...He will always be my little boy and I want him to follow his heart but it will be an adjustment for me ..

ps..something I do that my dad did for me is keep AAA for them ...even if the kids are passengers they can always get a tow, locked car keys & battery charges..I need to see if it is Plus.. I think it is..

Good ideas...He gave me his Garmin GPS because he likes his IPhone Maps but I think it would be better to have the Garmin in his glove compartment as a backup..

I was 23 when I made my first "adult" trip to Wyoming...and 28 when I moved out there. Gas can for the car... and a tool kit to keep in the car.. winter survival kit (matches, candles, goodies, etc. in a metal coffee can (if those still exist!)
