Hello Locals !
Information needed:
Would someone give me a list of colleges (including branches) in Jackson or nearby? Could you include an estimated drive time to the school?

I am considering an employment opportunity but I have a Senior in High School (who has no idea what he wants to do with his life, lol) but he does want to go to college and begin his basic requirement classes., so even a branch would work.

I also have a first grader and I have read great things about your elementary school.

Any and all information will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Jenna

http://www.cwc.edu/Outreach-Centers/Jackson-Campus.htm (broken link)

nearest 4 yr college is Idaho Sate in Pocatello about 2.5 hours. The U of Wyoming, the only university in the state is about 7 hours away in the opposite corner of the state. Looks like Casper College which was a community college has become a 4 year college, about 5 hours. Colleges in the SLC area area 4 hours away.

Thanks for all the info.
As many times as I have been to Jackson I never knew they had a college/branch there.
Everything you posted is very helpful.

As a former Jackson resident (loved it so don't think I'm slamming Jackson!), the word "cheaper" is not in any dictionary found in or near Teton County, WY or ID. What is the definition of "cheaper"?

Default schools in Jackson

Check out CWC Jackson Campus...They offer traditional classroom instruction as well as internet and tele classes (you can get your basic AA requirements while in Jackson). They also have a culinary program through the four seasons, a nursing program, and a new hotel management degree.

Also there is a new school here offering massage, esthetics, and nail technology... And The Teton Science School offers Masters degrees in Education.
