And I turn down work in both of those because I dislike them so much.

I'm very glad we can choose where we want to live and work. (Where's my flag? )

I wouldn't live in Billings if they doubled my salary. It's a pit. Bozeman isn't too bad, but better is definitely out there to be had. Most of Montana east of Flathead and Missoula just sucks.

Well I got my marching orders (so to speak) so now it may just be a few months. I was sad I didn't get to see Eaton's horse drive. Next year. What's up with all the rain in Sheridan?????

I was wondering the same about the rain, because I was under the impression Sheridan was warmer and dryer than other areas. Not that rain is a bad thing, it sure keeps things greener longer. I just thought it would be a lot warmer by now up your way. Here in Steamboat it has rained almost every day in May and we broke the record for May's rainfall. It has been overcast, rainy and ugly the entire month. After a long winter it's hard to spend another month indoors.

It varies year to year. In 2011, I didn't turn on my lawn sprinklers until August. In 2012, it was in the high 80's and dry by mid-May and never cooled down or gave us any rain and was well into the 90's most of the summer. Really sucked to be honest.

Wow. There is a TON of rain going on over there!!! One of the reasons I want to move to WY is that there is less precip than MI. I gey migraines when it rains and it makes my fibro even worse. Cody and Evanston are not getting the onslaught. Maybe I should look aroumd Cody too. That was 2nd on my WY list.

Weather changes. It is not a constant. Some years are dry and some are very wet. If you need consistently dry weather for your health, perhaps the city-data statistics pages can be of help.

I'm glad you found this out before moving here.

This is an abnormally wet spring. The weather runs in cycles. There are wet seasons and there are dry seasons.
