What/where was the cheapest gas you saw, along your travels ?

The Exxon (in Ethete, on the Wind-River Rez) has the cheapest prices I've ever seen...and Bradley's Sinclair (in Casper) has 2nd cheapest gas. Otherwise I have my Maverik 'adventure card' which knocks-off .2c per gallon...but quality of gas at a few of those has been 'sketchy' over the yrs...

I saw gas priced at $1.789 in Newcastle last week. That's probably the cheapest gas price I've seen in more than a decade. Here in Gillette the cheapest I've seen is $1.949. I sure wish the prices would go up.

'Exchange Gas-Station'...wow, that brings back memories.

People who look far enough down into my Facebook-timeline notice that I didn't have a car (while stationed in the U.K. in the mid-to-late 80's) and they ask why, considering it's so gosh-darn perpetually 'wet' there, pretty much year-round...and I tell them that as a single-airman living in the barracks, I simply didn't make the money necessary to buy, insure and keep a car running (fuel-wise) when gas typically cost upwards of $5.00 litre...which is where having a motorcycle DID come in handy.

Dirt-cheap to buy, register, insure and drive...

But it certainly made for 'interesting' commutes between the air-bases where I lived and worked, during inclement-weather, especially during the winter.

Yep...I know ALL about 'black-ice'...lol !
