In any case, I just accepted a job offer in central Connecticut, which starts in two weeks. It was just so weird though....because after accepting the offer, I started having thoughts about the idea of living in Wyoming. I cannot explain it. But I'm sure it will pass.
Are you sure you couldn't find any accounting jobs in Wyoming in that ballpark? I found a few on Wyoming At Work and Indeed... Good luck in Connecticut, but don't discount Wyoming forever.

What Froggie Legs said. Enjoy Connecticut and get more experience to enhance the resume. Then look at Wyoming.

My wife and I visited Yellowstone NP and the Devil's Tower. The drive across Rt 14 was spectacular. We cannot visit again until next year but we will be back. If we could afford it the ideal would be spring and/or fall in New England, summer in Wyoming and winter somewhere in southern New Mexico.

In better economic times the coal mines had fantastic accounting positions - I worked there a few years back and it great. Good people to work with and paid a lot more than $55k
