Stop allowing so many [mod cut] people in at one time, then your operating costs go WAY down. Have a lottery or reservation system that caps attendance at a pre determined rate, then your NPS experience goes way up, your cost of maintenance and infrastructure goes way down and these ridiculous entry fees might be more tolerable.
A racket would be an organized illegal activity, not a fee for entering a park. How much does a day at Disney cost?

A single day pass at EPCOT/Disney World is $94 and parking is $17.

Florida residents got a break in October - but the tickets are not transferrable and you better have a Fla drivers license for proof of id.

I always wanted to tear up the asphalt roads in the two parks and replace with clinker rock. Cuts down on the speeding and only grading is needed. That area around Norris Basin was always been a problem and with the run-off the oil spills into the creeks.

Geez. That's just about worth kidnapping someone with a senior pass and dragging them along. Strap 'em to the front bumper, pass in hand.
