So I'm thinking about a camping trip to Green River Lakes over Labor Day.

Does anyone have any feeling about how full it could be on the Saturday morning of Labor Day weekend?

Nice big parking lot will be full is my guess. Utah discovered that place many years ago. You pulling a trailer or bringing a tent so as to hike in and find a spot?

We'll be bringing in a tent and not a trailer, but I was hoping for a spot in the campground rather than hiking in. Thanks for the heads up about Utah having discovered this spot. I'll roll the dice on it.

Let us know how it goes. A beautiful spot for sure.

Will do. I have a suspicion that the Rona will keep numbers down.

I wouldn't be so sure. Lots of people have been camping this year. I don't know how crowded the area will get but hopefully it won't be too crowded. It is a very beautiful area. I camped there once in late September. It was gorgeous with the quakies a gold color.

Amen on the beautiful area.

My friends in Jackson tell me it’s the busiest up there it’s ever been. So if everybody goes up there instead, our guy has it made!

Definitely. This area is so much more relaxing than Jackson.

Was there in July. Beautiful area. If you can't camp in the campground then find one of the many dispersed camping spots that are just off the main road. We got a sweet dispersed spot about a mile from the first lake, it was so quiet and peaceful and just across the road from the river.
Two notes: First, the mosquitoes in July were obnoxious. I don't know if they're as bad now, just be prepared. Second, it's supposed to get down to freezing in Pinedale by Labor Day. So, be prepared for that too.
