How a Police Chief in Wyoming’s Ranchlands Lost Her War on Drugs
A campaign over meth, money and accountability cost law enforcement officers in Guernsey, Wyo., their jobs. Now their lawsuits are prying open the town’s secrets
.
Not long after she had first started asking questions, she said, she had found a dead bird on her front porch, with a nail driven through it. Now, as chief, she had opened a full-scale investigation, and two townspeople warned that they had overheard the mayor talk about crippling the Police Department.
“Meth’s run amok,” said Cheryl Hoff, a longtime Guernsey resident who has been one of the former police chief’s many supporters.

I am not one bit surprised. That's how the drug trade flourishes, corrupt people in high places. It goes all the way to the top.

I hope all little towns impacted by meth get cleaned up.

I read a different article with same results on Guernsey, Wyoming about the 2 female officers/chief . There is a need to bring in outside authorities State and Federal. This meth problem is related to the high property crimes.
Too bad we can't bring back Sheriff Buford Pusser from 1974.

There is no mention of property crimes in the article. Small towns can solve their problems far better than outsiders can.

Folks in Guernsey don't need saviors from Frisco or NYC, the place the OP calls home.
