11:00 PM (MDT), May 5

Description

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 10 to 18 inches in southwest portions of the Park. Snowfall 1 to 5 inches elsewhere. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Yellowstone National Park.

* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 6 PM MDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult, especially in the backcountry.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest winds occur Monday and Tuesday afternoons. Heaviest snow occurs Monday morning into Monday night.

Action Recommended
Execute a pre-planned activity as instructed in the Description.

9-18+ for us from now, Mon 6:45 to Wed.

We've had several good rains and snows this past week. Wet and muddy.

Did get the pond cleaned up a bit yesterday but made a big mess!

YIKES !!!!!

We have had the fireplace going the last couple of days. It’s snowing, but no accumulation.

Ended up with about 20". Then rain, snow, sleet rotating most of the day today. Should melt off quick.
