Anyone heard of this place? Seems to be on the southeastern part..just a bit north of Laramie.

Default Devil's Canyon

Devil's Canyon that I know about is up in the NE corner. Close to Lovell. If you do a search on the web you will see that it is involved in a land exchange. Not a very popular one from my part of the state.

Neat place though.

You mean Roger's Canyon. I wouldn't go through there this time of year if I were you, unless you have some gigantic 4 wheel drive beast of a truck.

Don't they call that Vee Da Voo (I think that's the name) area, Devil's Playground? That could be close to the name.

Default Devils Canyon

Thanks all for you replies.

I was hoping to move to the Laramie area in April but it looks a bit shaky at the moment.

Too bad...I was really looking forward to leaving this rat race in Houston and get "back" to some real 1880's roots.

I'd trade it all for a small cabin in the elevation (no elect, wood burning stove, use solar energy as much as possible..only accessible by horseback---type of place) and tell the world to suck green eggs!

LOL!!!!

Thanks again

Devils Canyon is South and a little West of Rawlins. Right next to the state line.

Rogers Canyon is just a few miles North East of Laramie.

I know this is stretching even further. There is a Hell's Half Acre, at Powder River, Wyoming. Real Famous place I guess.

Hells Half acre is actually a town about 4.5 miles West of Powder River on Highway 20.

Powder River is about 45 miles North West of Casper on Highway 20.

Now, Hells Half Acre Canyon is about 60 miles North and a little West of Gillette. Only about 5 miles from the state line.

By the way, I think the Famous Hells Half Acre is in Arizona. Not real sure though.
