PsykoKustomz, a wondering mind is a good thing!! I am always curious about something myself.

I don't know the roads well enough to say what road we were on and the trip info is saved on my husband's computer. He has been on rigs around the Wamsutter area for about seven years and he had not been on this road before. This looked like au natural land which made us guess it was bentonite. The first part of the road was topped with something but that stopped.

If I had to pick dust or out of control sliding - I would take the dust! With the hard core safety attitude the drilling companies have now it is odd they would put something on the roads that made travel dangerous at any time.

I do agree on that one when I first started in the patch about 6 years ago it was just a dust ball and yes it made it dangerous but you learned to slow down and keep your distance. Now I see the oil filed workers booking it on the road because of the Mag Chloride and it is as dangerous as my opinion. I remember having to put it in Four Wheel drive to stay on Dad's road when it was only raining. That stuff can make a real mess of things thats for sure

Im defintiley not saying that there is no way that it was bentonite i just have a wondering mind complex lol
