Hi all! I got an internship in Sheridan for the summer. I'm just learning to fence (as in the Olympic sport not the construction
) and was wondering if there is a fencing club there. I realize this may be a tough question but I can't find any online info on it....but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Any help? Thanks!

I've never heard of such a club existing here in Sheridan, but that doesn't mean there isn't any. Try contacting the Chamber Of Commerce to see if they know.

I too, have not heard of any in Sheridan. There might be something at the local YMCA and there's also a couple of Marshal Arts outfits in town that might have something like that available just to keep busy.

Welcome to sheridan-just an off the wall suggestion
maybe when you get here you could give a demonstration of the art of fence-it is a beautiful sport-very athletic and intense- could be a new fun and gracefull thing to do to music

Thanks everyone! I have my fencing club leader looking into it....I may look into doing a demo...I'm not highly experienced but I do know a few basics.

Have you checked Sheridan College? They may have a club... The local YMCA or Chamber of Commerce like other poster's mentioned would also be a good resource...

The only fencing club I could think of was when we got together with a couple of 12 packs and put up that new wire from..... oops. Wrong Fencing club.
