Hello all! We have FINALLY sold and closed ont he sale of our home in Montana! It took 10 months, but it's finally done, thank God. However, things do work out for the best as now we were able to find a nice home in Gillette much easier than we would have been able to a year ago. Prices have come down a bit and there is more available now. Best thing is that interest rates have really come down. We got a very nice, completely finished 9 year old home in a nice neighborhood in Gillette for $217K. I'm glad we were patient. I'm going to write another thread about a loan that is available now in Wyoming for teachers, police officers, public service providers. Although we make too much money to qualify I wanted to share it with others. So look for the new thread!

That's great news! It's tough relocating and getting houses bought and sold...so glad it's behind you. Sounds like you got a good deal, as Gillette's housing is kinda high isn't it - and hard to get.

Thanks everybody. I've made some really good friends on this sight and appreciate all of you. It would be nice if I could meet you all in person someday! We do feel like we got a nice house for a good price. Houses are coming down a bit in Gillette, so we're glad that we hit the timing right. We're excited about getting moved, hopefully by the 1st of July!
