Yup!

She ran in 1912 against the incumbent mayor and won by 13 votes in the town of Dayton - and wasn't even on the ballot.

Mrs. Wissler held the office for two terms and was credited with cleaning up what had become something of an alcohol-infused lawlessness that had taken root.

You're next, Froggie!

Where in Wyoming once had the largest population of Chinese immigrants, and what is in that town today that commemorates their contributions to shaping the West?

I think your question was fine. For me, we're flooding here and I have been filling sandbags since last Friday. Over 750 bags filled and placed. I've logged on just long enough to moderate, and that's it. Your question is good, somebody will answer it soon.

Evanston Wyoming had the largest Chinese population, as it was the end of the tracks. A Union Pacific hauncho decided to move the end of the tracks to Wasatch and of course, the Chinese population moved 12 miles West to Wasach. However, Evanston built a round house and a large machine shop, so it didn't die like they thought it would, but instead, everybody in Wasach moved back. Today, a large Chinese celebration is still observed in "China Town" within Evanston.

"what is in that town today that commemorates their contributions to shaping the West?" am looking for a specific establishment's name.... you are right on the locale. Get the name and you're up

Are you talking about the Joss House, Sacred Temple that is a duplicate of the original?
