Sweet! Not being from there makes this tough. I have to find questions. I like trivia about places and I have not read through all 63 pages so this may have been asked before but....

Question: Wyoming had the first county public __________?

Kind of an easy one here....

Gib

Elk is correct! Good answer. Although it would have been cooler if the hanging was the answer.

Go for it Elk, your up.

How did the name Buffalo come about for the town South of Sheridan? Not just who or where it was named after, but how it was named Buffalo.

Charles Buell, owner of the Occidental Hotel near Clear Creek, helped name the town of Buffalo (pop. 3,900). It’s reported that Buell asked his patrons to place possible names for the new town in a hat. The winning name drawn came from Will Hart, whose hometown was Buffalo, N.Y.

Buffalo seems like a good name for a town in Wyoming, but I'm not sure why anyone would name a town in N.Y. that. Did they have Buffalo at one time?

hahaha You got it. NO, I didn't realize I had left it there. But I'll be more careful in the future.

Not sure how Buffalo NY got it's name.

I'll bet you went and checked some of my old posts to see if I did that before.

Ha ha, talk about giving it away!

What do Choteau, Montana, Lander, Wyoming and Port Arthur, Texas all have in common?
