My husband recently had a job offer in WY and we currently live in Phoenix and absolutely hate it. We are seriously considering the WY area of Cheyenne. My question is how are the schools? Crime? How is the job market there? Are there areas to stay away from? We have a three year old and want a decent area to live in. The weather you have is great. am originally from Buffalo so I am very familiar with the snow and will gladly take it over 120 degree days here in AZ.
Any info is sincerely appreciated.

I'm not sure how to answer this.

Az, get the hell out of there. hahahahaha

I'm not sure if Cheyenne is the place to be. Might ask Sunsprit. He's the authority in that part of the woods. I would grab Sheridan.

Crime? Don't have much. I worked for the county for a bit and have some opinions on this. haha We can discuss it.

If you are from Buffalo, you know how the schools are. I can't say enough. I put 7 kids through school here and the school system is fantastic.

Just come home. You can appreciate that statement.

You're from Buffalo, WY or Buffalo, NY?

Compared to Phoenix, there is no crime and no places to "stay away from".

The job market sucks right now, but it's still better than most parts of the country. Obama is trying to change that, however. So far he's on the right track.
