As a guy who has run his own business (and will do so again), I'd say that they have the top seven pretty much spot-on.

Listing Colorado as #8, however, doesn't jibe with reality. I think that CO belongs in league with ID, MT, et al. Tennessee and Alaska look more favorable than Colorado does.

I think Michigan belongs near the bottom of the list - it is leading the pack of "failed states" in the US. Utah could be pushed down a couple notches too, and a state like ND moved up. Delaware could be moved up, depending on the type of business we're talking about.

The bottom of the list is pretty much spot-on, with New York, California and New Jersey being the worst business climates in the nation. With that, I agree, without reservation.
