Hello all. We are moving to Laramie asap and are looking for a home. We've talked to realtors and searched and searched and are having a bit of a time finding a 3+ bedroom multi-bath house in our price range (150-175). Anyone have any good tips on a FSBO or anything like that that would be hard to find thru realtors lists and internet searches and we may have missed? Thanks.

It has taken me five months to just find a two bed / one bath that seemed acceptable to me, and then it was bought out from underneath me while I was arranging finances. It is tough to find a good one here, that meets what is all on your list. I would highly recommend renting for a while until you find what you want. There's a fair amount of three bedroom rentals here in town, some may be available this time of year at a discounted rate since its winter.

One other option you may want to consider:
Laramie allows Manufactured Homes on regular lots. I'm not talking trailers, I'm talking the type they build in a factory, bring to your lot, build a foundation and basement, then permanently place it. You can frequently get a lot for $30,000 - $40,000 here, and get a damn decent manufactured home for around $125,000 and come out with a much nicer, customizable home than buying something existing likely built from fifty years or older in the same price range. Just something to chew on.
