Does anyone know of a local place or place near by where I may purchase some Hard White Wheat? I have found some places online but would like to just drive and pick up. I'm also interested in buying other whole grains as well.

Thanks,

Sarah

There's a lady (Phyllis) at Tnt guns in Gillette (just East of it) who does a co-op buy every 8 weeks. I have a catalog I can email you and I'll look up her phone no. That is if you want to drive to Gillette. Its 307 682 5283. I've ordered bulk wheat, flour, grits, pancake mix, you name it.

In Sheridan, you might check with Dennis down at Co-oP. He might be able to get some in. Or check with the feed store a couple blocks North of Co-oP.

I don't think either carry it in stock, but they might be able to get it for you.

Co-op and Sheridan Seed was a bust. I'm trying to get a hold of the Alison's Pantry guy here in town. I know they carry it but I'll have to wait for it to get here. I was hoping someone local had it.

I would love to go to Walton but it is a very long drive from here. Maybe some day when I'm visiting family in Pinedale I can whip over there. It would still be 3 or 4 hours from there as well.

If anyone else has any ideas please let me know!

Wheat Montana in Billings has 5 gal buckets and 50lb bags of hard red, hard white, soft white. They sell flour too. Grown in Montana! Excellent quality. If your in Sheridan Billings is about an hour north. and no tax!! I highly recommend them. Website is wheatmontana.com. They have several stores in Montana.
