Are people in Sheridan Wyoming friendly. I have heard that they are not.

I don't know where you would hear such a thing. I've found the people in Sheridan very friendly.

That's not uncommon for temp people to draw a unjust conclusion. If you think about it, most people that live for a short period of time in an area don't get envolved with the community. They exist and leave.

I first came to Sheridan in 1972 and that's what I thought about the area. Unfriendly. But it was more my doing then the town. I knew I was only going to be here for a few weeks and then be gone. I was impatient for services wanting everything now. The next time I come to Sheridan was a move to live here, not just exist. I got involved, I met people, I went to school plays, choir, rodeo's, parades, and I met people that were truely some of the friendliest people of all the places I've lived.

Sheridan is a town of 15,000 people with close to 28,000 in the County. The town is small enough that it's very familiar. In other words, you see people you know, every day, out and about in town. But it's big enough that everybody is not into your business. At least, not like some places I've been.

LuvWyoming, I have met very few unfriendly people from any town in Wyoming.
