How is Wyoming making it in this economy? I have a friend moving down and where would be an ideal place to live? Thanks.

Sheridan and surrounding area is hurting because of the economy. We really didn't get hit as hard as most areas but we still haven't recovered or even started to recover.

As to where is their perfect place to live? How about telling us what their likes and displikes are.

Mountains? Wind? Shopping? Scenery? Schools? Jobs? etc...

From what I've heard around Cody, those jobs that are service oriented have stacks of applications and several folks I know are working a couple of jobs. I've also noticed more forclosures in the Cody newspaper every week. Cody's blue collar wages are not inline with the housing costs here.
