My breakdown is the following:

Gas: 100 (winter) 25 (summer)
Electric: 85 (winter) 190 (summer)
Water: 65 (all year)

My specs are the following

-2400 sq ft

-Indian Land

-Washer (HE) and Dryer

-No sprinkler system

-Temps kept to 73 downstairs 71 upstairs, winter time we reduce the upstairs to 69 at night then raise in the morning to 71.

-Gas appliances

The above is just rough estimates and averages. Hope that helps!

Default reply to utility bill

Muskratlove, thank you for your reply, the home I am buying that is just about the same size as yours 2300 sq ft. So you pay roughly 250 a month at the most? less at certain times.am I interpeting this correct? can you tell me what the most a monthly bill is. you said water 65 for the year? or did I not understand. It is hard to estimate a monthly bill for all of my main utilitys i.e. elec, gas, and. water.

It will be a big tranaction for my Family, I have had it with the northeast city life. hustle, bustle all we do is work to pay rent and taxes. I have finally gotten fed up and look foward to the move to a more cival part of the country

Heh, there ya go :P

As for the bills, it's different for different times of the year. Electric is slightly higher during the summer for the AC (which WILL always be on ) and lower for the winter. Same for gas as its variable depending on how you set your temps when its needed for heat. Cooking is a negligible use. That $65 is per month not year. Hope that clears things up. If not feel free to drop me a line.

Good luck with your move!
