We get ours on the lot at Lowes Food parking lot...fresh and reasonably priced. However, this year we got an artificial tree. Apparently, there is now an additional tax on fresh cut trees.

I guess it depends on what your definition of "Fresh" is. If you want to go to the farm and cut one yourself or get a tree w/ the root ball still intact, you'll need to head to Penland Tree Farm in York.

There are at least 3 people selling trees on hwy 160 from 77 to Tega K. Lowes has trees, there are a few places on Gold Hill also. We purchased ours at the lot beside the Lowes Grocery store in Tega K.

We bought ours at Nation Ford HS. Fresh cut trees in the front parking lot. Open Wed - Fri after school and Saturdays noon - 6pm (or later). It's a fundraiser for various school clubs.
