When will York County fix these roads? They did mark Springfield Hwy where the road needs fixed recently. FYI the repairs needed are notated with the white line on each side of the road. Any area within the white lines is in need of repair...the whole road lol. The area from around the Paddocks through the SCHOOL ZONE and up to 160 are the worst. 160 at the Sugar Creek bridge just before entering into Lancaster county is just as bad or worse. At least Lancaster County roads are getting some much needed, long overdue attention in some areas of 29707. A big thank you to those who are making this happen!! York County needs to step it up and take care of these roads before people are seriously hurt or killed driving on them. They sure had no problem paving MILES of Hwy 49 and Hwy 211 almost in entirety (without even a seam hardly) headed into the heavily populated Hickory Grove, SC. Makes you wonder who lives way out there?? There is probably as much traffic on 460 in 10 minutes as 211 sees all day.

Fort Mill to take on traffic needs, avoid others, after bridge plan flop | Fort Mill Times - Fort Mill, SC

160 to Lancaster will end up being 3 lanes. So either we will get a suicide line down the center, or one side of the road will get the extra lane.

I am worried the addition of the traffic light at 160 and Baberville might make traffic worse if the light isnt in sync with the light at the previous intersection.

I really dont know what side of the road should get the lane. People already are clueless on how to drive on 160 once you leave the downtown area of Fort Mill. Id say coming from Lancaster into Fort Mill needs it. Everyone wants to go left at the light after the bridge, and they refuse to pave that section for people to go around the left idling cars. I say they will make that 2 lanes from around Barberville all the way to the Gold Hill Rd intersection.
